Sladders Ltd (“Sladders”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data.
We are the data controller for your personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who this applies to
This Privacy Policy applies to users of Sladders services, including:
- Sladders, our global free-play sports prediction platform.
- Sladders Bet, our regulated gambling product for eligible users in the United Kingdom.
- Sladders.com and other websites or services operated by Sladders Ltd that refer to this Policy.
Sladders and Sladders Bet use a shared Sladders account and certain information is used across both services.
Some types of personal data and processing described in this Policy apply only if you use Sladders Bet or participate in particular competitions or promotions.
- You must be 16 or older to use Sladders.
- You must be 18 or older and meet the applicable eligibility requirements to use Sladders Bet.

Depending on the Sladders services you use, we may collect:

- Prediction & competition data – predictions, competition entries, points, leaderboard positions, performance cards and competition results.
- Team & Private League data – teams, team membership, Captain status, starting five and bench selections, Private League membership and related activity.
- Chat data – messages and other information you provide through Private League Chat.
- Device & technical data – device type, operating system, IP address, browser information, app information, cookies and similar technologies.
- Location & geolocation data – location information where required for eligibility, security, regulatory or other applicable purposes.
- Marketing & communications data – marketing preferences, opt-in choices and communications with us.
- Support & complaint data – information you provide when contacting Support, submitting feedback or making a complaint.
- Promotional prize data – information required to determine prize eligibility, contact winners and process prize payments.
- Fraud, security & compliance data – information relating to suspected fraud, misuse, security events, investigations and compliance checks.
If you use Sladders Bet, we may also collect:
- Verification & KYC data – identity information, date of birth, address information, identity documents, proof of address and verification results.
- Payment & Wallet data – deposits, withdrawals, payment methods, transaction references, subscriptions, winnings and Wallet balances.
- Gambling activity data – paid competition participation, prediction submissions, Passes and other information relating to your use of Sladders Bet.
- Responsible gambling data – Deposit Limits, Reality Checks, Timeouts, Self-Exclusion, Gaming Account Closure and relevant responsible gambling interactions.
- GAMSTOP data – information required to check and apply applicable GAMSTOP self-exclusions.
- Financial-crime data – information generated or obtained through anti-money laundering, fraud-prevention and other financial-crime checks.

4. How Sladders and Sladders Bet share data
Sladders and Sladders Bet use a shared Sladders account.
Information that may be used across both services includes:

- Teams and team membership.
- Private Leagues.
- Leaderboards.
- Performance cards.
This allows eligible users to access shared Sladders features without maintaining separate accounts.
Information relating specifically to regulated gambling activity, such as KYC checks, deposits, Wallet transactions, paid subscriptions, withdrawals and responsible gambling controls, is processed where required for Sladders Bet.
Closing or restricting access to one Sladders service does not necessarily mean that all information associated with your shared Sladders account can immediately be deleted. We may need to retain certain information to provide another Sladders service or meet legal, regulatory, security or compliance obligations.
5. Sladders Bet verification and regulatory processing
Sladders Bet is a regulated gambling product.
If you use Sladders Bet, we process personal data to meet applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including:
- Verifying your identity.
- Verifying your age.
- Verifying your address.
- Determining your eligibility to use Sladders Bet.
- Carrying out geolocation or location checks where applicable.
- Preventing fraud and financial crime.

Free competition cash prizes are processed separately from the Sladders Bet Wallet and may require you to provide appropriate bank or payment information.
We may ask for identity or other evidence where necessary to confirm eligibility or where a fraud, underage-use, security or compliance concern arises.
7. Responsible gambling and self-exclusion
If you use Sladders Bet, we process information required to provide and enforce responsible gambling controls.
This may include information relating to:

- Reality Checks.
- Timeouts.
- Self-Exclusion.
- Gaming Account Closure.
- Gambling activity and account history.
- Relevant interactions with Sladders concerning gambling behaviour.

Sladders Bet also participates in GAMSTOP.
We process the personal information necessary to check applicable customer information against GAMSTOP and to prevent access to gambling where an active GAMSTOP exclusion applies.
Responsible gambling and self-exclusion information may continue to be retained after you stop gambling where necessary to comply with regulatory requirements, prevent prohibited re-registration or protect customers.

12. How long we keep your data

In general:
- Sladders account, profile and ordinary gameplay information is retained while your account is active and normally for up to 2 years after account closure.
- Private League Chat is normally retained for up to 12 months after the relevant message or league inactivity, unless longer retention is necessary for security, complaints, investigations or legal purposes.
- Sladders Bet identity, KYC, financial, Wallet and gambling records are normally retained for at least 5 years after the relevant gambling relationship ends where required for legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention or compliance purposes.
- Responsible gambling and self-exclusion information may be retained for at least 5 years after the relevant gambling relationship or exclusion ends where necessary to meet regulatory requirements or prevent prohibited re-registration.
- Promotional winner and prize-payment records may be retained for up to 6 years after payment.
- Complaints, disputes and significant fraud or security investigation records may be retained for up to 6 years after final resolution or closure.
- Support enquiries are normally retained for up to 2 years after resolution.
- Marketing information is retained while relevant to your marketing preferences. Where you opt out, we may retain limited information necessary to ensure that your preference continues to be respected.
- Routine technical and security logs are normally retained for up to 12 months unless longer retention is necessary for security or investigation purposes.
Some information may be retained for longer where required by law, a regulator, an ongoing investigation, dispute or legal claim.
Where information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.
13. Your rights
You have rights under applicable data protection law, which may include the right to:

No system can guarantee absolute security.

15. Young people
Sladders is available only to users aged 16 or over.
Sladders Bet is available only to eligible users aged 18 or over.
We do not knowingly allow anyone under 16 to create or use a Sladders account.
We may use age information and appropriate checks to help enforce these requirements.
If we become aware that an individual does not meet the applicable minimum age, we may restrict or close the relevant account and take appropriate steps in relation to their personal data.

16. Marketing
We only send electronic marketing where permitted by applicable law.

Where marketing relates to Sladders Bet or other gambling services, additional regulatory and responsible marketing requirements apply.
You can opt out of marketing at any time through:

Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary service, security, regulatory or account communications.
17. Your choices and permissions

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place lawfully before consent was withdrawn.
